How the calculation works

Cost = area × (SPC plank + underlay + labour) × 1.07 wastage. For 800 sqft at ₹165/sqft + ₹25 underlay + ₹35 labour = ₹1.9 lakh. Premium SPC with acoustic underlay (Floorne / Pergo) pushes ₹2.4–2.8 lakh.

Why this estimate is more accurate

SPC is the easiest flooring to mis-spec. Most dealers will sell you "5.5 mm SPC with 0.3 mm wear layer" calling it "premium" when 6.5 mm with 0.5 mm is the actual residential standard. Knowing the spec lets you ask for the right product at the right price.
