How the calculation works
Cost = area × (slab rate + ₹65–150 laying & polish) × 1.12 wastage. For 1000 sqft of Makrana white at ₹180/sqft + ₹95 laying = ₹3.1 lakh. For Italian Statuario at ₹650/sqft slab the same project is ₹8.4 lakh. Polishing alone after 3–5 years runs ₹35–70/sqft.
