How the calculation works
For 4 outdoor + 2 indoor cameras (Hikvision 2MP) with 4-channel DVR + 1 TB HDD + mobile app: cameras 6 × ₹3,500 = ₹21k + DVR ₹6.5k + HDD ₹4.5k + cabling 80 m × ₹35/m = ₹2.8k + installation ₹4.5k. Total: ₹39k installed.
Why this estimate is more accurate
CCTV pricing is opaque because vendors bundle everything into one "system price". The line items have wildly different margins — cameras are commodity-margin but DVRs and HDDs carry 50–80% markup. Knowing each line stops the bundle game.
